Printing on heavier material is virtually the same as printing on t-shirts, with the benefit of extra opportunities for print locations on the sleeves and hood. Nothing really compares to the texture and weight of a screen-printed poster. Something about it feels more genuine, like you can feel the process in the tactility itself. We have the ability print posters on a variety of paper stocks with max dimensions of 18”x27.5” and multiple ink colors. A popular application for bands is creating album-sized prints for inclusion in deluxe vinyl variants. Another way to set your products apart is to incorporate custom-printed packaging and mailers for distribution in style.

INKS 

WHAT'S ACTUALLY GOING THROUGH THE SCREEN

Plastisol is typically our go-to ink when it comes to apparel printing, although water-based is also an option. Plastisol sits on top of the surface of the shirt and binds to the fibers of the material through a heat-curing process. Water-based ink acts as more of a dye where it produces a softer feel, if you’re looking for a product where the weight of the print is less noticeable. Let us know which direction you would like to pursue and we can talk about some different methods to achieve the effect you’re going for.

Water-based and acrylic inks are uses for all flatstock-printing purposes.
